Energy Alton have recently launched an exciting new project called Powering Up, and we have big ambitions! The Powering Up project will benefit everyone by creating a new community owned and directed organisation to install and own local renewable energy projects.
We want to pursue a range of projects including, solar photovoltaic (PV), renewable heating, and novel projects such as multi-tenancy residential schemes. We have some initial projects in mind for which we plan to run a feasibility study this autumn.
To make this all happen we need your help! We have a small dedicated committee, but we need to expand in order to support this new venture. In particular we need a new secretary and we will soon need volunteer directors for the new organisation. We also need help to run our stall at the following events:
- 20th November
- 27th November
- 4th December
- 11th December
- And future events in 2022…
