From 27 August 2026, new UK regulations will allow approved plug-in solar systems to be connected using a standard household socket, providing an easier way to install solar at home.

Two of our volunteers are quoted in a BBC South news article about the forthcoming new rules allowing plug-in solar installations.

You could be eligible for a grant towards solar panels of up to £12,000.

Energy Alton will be at the Farnham Wellbeing and Sustainability Festival at Gostrey Meadows on May 17th from 11:00.
