Hydrogen comes in lots of colour codes – Blue, Green, Pink, Grey and Yellow.  The greenest is, not surprisingly, Green Hydrogen – made from water using electricity from renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power.

Peter Dixon-Clarke is the Chief Financial Officer for AFC Energy, which has been developing hydrogen powered fuel cell technology at its base in Surrey for the past decade.  The fuel cells produce electricity, with the only by-product being pure water.   They are used to replace off-grid fossil-fuelled electricity generation – such as diesel generators on construction sites. 

Peter will be giving a fascinating presentation on how green hydrogen and fuel cell technology can be the key to reducing the carbon footprint of many commercial operations.
