Energy Alton is run entirely by volunteers. We are a friendly, committed community group of people from all backgrounds and none. We focus on action, on making a tangible difference to the community in Alton and the surrounding villages through information, advice, services and projects, as described on this website.

We always have volunteering opportunities available. Just a few hours a month would be valuable. Times are flexible and by arrangement. You do not need to be an expert – we will give you all the training and support you need.

You could

• carry out home energy surveys and offer advice, helping people to save money
• learn to take thermal images of properties for homeowners
• get involved with our projects and events
• become an energy efficiency adviser within your neighbourhood, club or community group
• help develop our work on wider environmental issues, such as waste management and energy-efficient transport
