EAST HAMPSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL IS CONSULTING ON A NEW LOCAL PLAN

• The Plan includes Alton and its villages

• There is an EHDC consultation event at Alton Malting on Friday 15 March from 15.30 to 20.30
• EHDC’s deadline for comments is 19 March.

A Local Plan is the key document that sets out the priorities and policies for development. It shows the opportunities for development in the area, and states what will and will not be permitted and where.  This is an important opportunity to comment on policies covering housing, employment, infrastructure and the environment.
